I got a chance to eat at Giordanos. I had heard of this place by many Chicago natives as the best pizza ever. The Chicago style pizza (where the sauce is on the top) was amazing. Best crust and best sauce I ever tasted. If you are ever in the area don't miss your chance to eat there. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch.

Chicago Pizza
I spent last week in Naperville, IL (a suburb of Chicago) for work. There was snow on the ground, it was really pretty. I was crunching the snow every chance I got and I made a snow ball, but I didn't have gloves on so that activity ended quickly.

Vegas
Rick and I spent the week in Vegas. We had a lot of fun, and although we have been there so many times before, we still managed to find new things to do this trip.
One thing we had never done is go to the top of the "Eiffel Tower". I had heard that the Bellagio fountain show (which I love) is great to watch from up there so I had always wanted to check it out. I watched two shows from up there ("My Heart Will Go On" and "Proud to be an American") and then one on the ground right in front of the fountains ("Fly Me to the Moon"). I have seen the fountains many times, but I could sit and watch them all evening, they are really cool and artistic.
Here are some pics from the Eiffel Tower, but my little camera doesn't do the view justice.

If you ever go to Vegas here are the best things to do.

I'm going to India
I will soon be crossing off an item on my list of things to do before I die.
- "Travel to another country with a lot of culture/history (like Spain) or that is completely different from the U.S. (like Japan)"
I will be traveling to India for work to train some new employees. India may not be as cool as Spain or Japan, but it definitely qualifies as being completely different from the U.S. The only downside of the trip is that I will be there for four weeks. That's a REALLY long time to be away from Rick and away from everything I'm used to.
I will be leaving mid-March, so more details to come.

Cancer Sucks
My grandma, MeMa Mary, lost her battle with lung cancer on New Year's Day. Rick and I were able to travel to be with her before she passed which was a blessing. She was a real amazing lady and is now in heaven with her husband, her son, and Jesus. I was very lucky to have her as a grandma and I will miss her a lot.
In memory of MeMa, who was an extraordinary cook, enjoy this recipe she created and won one of many cooking contests with. They are REALLY good cookies, and healthy!
P.S. - Cooking Light made a mistake. MeMa lived in Omaha, Arkansas not Arizona.
